What identification do I need for a notarization?

Does my document need to be signed in front of the notary?

What if my document requires witnesses?
Some documents may require witnesses in addition to notarization. Call To Sign can discuss the appointment requirements with you in advance, but we cannot determine whether your document legally requires witnesses or provide legal advice.
Can a mobile notary come to a hospital or assisted living facility?
Yes. Call To Sign can provide mobile notary appointments at hospitals, assisted living facilities, senior communities, and other healthcare locations when permitted by the facility. The signer must be willing and able to communicate with the notary and meet Florida's requirements for notarization.
Can you notarize a document written in another language?
A Florida notary may notarize a signature on a document written in another language under certain circumstances, provided the notary can properly communicate with the signer and complete the required notarial certificate. Can you tell me which type of notarization I need?
No. A notary who is not an attorney cannot choose a notarial act for you or provide legal advice. The type of notarization should be indicated by the document or provided by the person or organization requesting it.
How much does a mobile notary cost?
Florida regulates the fee that may be charged for a notarial act. Mobile appointments may also include a separate travel or convenience fee based on the location, distance, time, and details of the appointment. Your pricing will be confirmed before the appointment.
