Service & Payment Policy
By scheduling an appointment with Call To Sign, you agree to the following terms.
Appointment Pricing
Pricing is provided before the appointment is confirmed and may include mobile service, travel, convenience, waiting, witness, printing, parking, or other applicable service charges. Notarial acts are charged separately and will not exceed the amount permitted by Florida law.
Appointment Reservation
A $25 reservation payment is required to confirm certain appointments. The reservation payment is applied toward the final amount due and is not an additional charge. An appointment requiring a reservation payment is not confirmed until payment is received.
Cancellations
Appointments canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time will receive a full refund of the $25 reservation payment.
Appointments canceled less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time are considered late cancellations, and the $25 reservation payment is nonrefundable.
Cancellation by Call To Sign
If Call To Sign must cancel an appointment and cannot provide the scheduled service, any reservation payment collected will be refunded in full.
No-Shows
If the signer is unavailable, cannot be located, or does not appear for the scheduled appointment, the $25 reservation payment is nonrefundable.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Waiting Time
The first 15 minutes of waiting time are included for standard appointments. After 15 minutes, a waiting fee of $15 per additional 15 minutes may apply.
Facility appointments, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, include the first 30 minutes of waiting time.
Signer & Document Readiness
Signers must have acceptable identification and documents must be ready at the scheduled appointment time. All required signers and witnesses must be present unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
A notary cannot provide legal advice, select a notarial act for a signer, prepare legal documents, or proceed with a notarization when legal requirements are not satisfied.
Unable to Complete a Notarization
Mobile, travel, waiting, parking, printing, witness, or other services already provided remain payable even if a notarization cannot be completed because of identification issues, missing signers or witnesses, incomplete documents, signer unwillingness or incapacity, or another circumstance outside Call To Sign's control.
No fee will be charged for a notarial act that is not performed.
Parking & Tolls
Tolls are included in the quoted mobile service price. Any required paid parking will be added at actual cost.
Payment
Unless otherwise arranged, the remaining balance is due at the appointment. Call To Sign accepts approved electronic payment methods, credit/debit cards, and cash.
Changes to the Appointment
Pricing may change if the location, number of notarizations, number of signers, required witnesses, timing, or other appointment requirements differ from the information provided when the appointment was quoted.
By confirming an appointment and submitting any required reservation payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to this Service & Payment Policy.
