Need a notary to come to a hospital? Call To Sign provides mobile hospital notary services throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties for patients who need documents notarized while receiving care.
We travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities by appointment, including same-day, evening, and weekend appointments when available.
When a patient cannot easily leave a hospital, a mobile notary can come to the facility to complete the notarization.
Hospital notary appointments may be scheduled by the signer, a family member, an attorney, or another person assisting with the documents. Before scheduling, we recommend confirming that the document is ready to be signed and determining whether witnesses are required.
The signer must be willing to sign and able to communicate directly with the notary at the time of the appointment.
Documents Commonly Notarized at Hospitals
Hospital notarizations can involve many types of documents, including:
Hospital appointments can require a little more coordination than a standard mobile notary appointment.
Before the notary arrives, it helps to have the document ready, know whether witnesses are required, and confirm the patient's room or location within the facility.
The notary must communicate directly with the signer and confirm their identity and willingness to sign. Family members, hospital staff, or other individuals cannot answer for the signer.
Call To Sign cannot provide legal advice, select documents, or determine which documents a patient should sign.

Hospital Notary FAQs
Can a family member schedule a hospital notary for a patient?
Yes. A family member or other person may contact us to arrange the appointment. The notary will still need to communicate directly with the signer during the notarization.
Can you notarize a power of attorney at a hospital?
A power of attorney may be notarized at a hospital when the document is ready, the required notarial act can be performed, and the signer can meet the requirements for notarization. Call To Sign cannot prepare a power of attorney or provide legal advice about which document is needed.
Does the patient need identification?
The signer must be properly identified in accordance with Florida notary requirements. Contact us before the appointment if there are concerns about available identification.
What if the patient cannot communicate with the notary?
The notary needs to communicate directly with the signer and determine that the signer is willing to complete the notarization. If that cannot be established, the notarization may not be able to proceed.
Can you provide witnesses for a hospital signing?
If your document requires witnesses, let us know when scheduling. Witness availability can be discussed before the appointment.
Do you offer same-day hospital notary service?
Same-day hospital notary appointments may be available depending on the facility, location, and schedule. Call or text for current availability.
